McHenry Garden Club supports a program to deliver flowers to the Hospice of Northeastern Illinois for McHenry area patients. Each month 2 to 4 members create 12 flower arrangements using flowers from their gardens and local businesses. Six of the arrangements are delivered to the in-patient site in Woodstock and the other six are sent with the in-home nursing staff for patient delivery. Along with the flowers to brighten everyone day's, the club sends a wish of love, peace and encouragement.
