September Meeting

The McHenry Garden Club held its September meeting at the home of Guy and Pat Inman in Woodstock, who have a beautiful property incorporating wooded acres and large wetlands as well as a native and wildflower preservation area. Pat is a mycologist (mushroom cultivator) and explained how she grows different species in the woods around their home.

Garden of the Month - September

This tranquil garden at 6821 Ayre Drive in McHenry is very welcoming to visitors to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Diederick. Selected September Garden of the Month by the McHenry Garden Club, the Diederick's home also features a hedge of hydrangeas and a colorful backyard perennial garden.
